Jane joined the Body Dynamics team in January 2004, having been a member of the gym since 1998. Jane has combined her two unique passions: design and fitness. She holds both a BA and MFA degrees in Art, with a specialization in jewelry. She has designed, produced and marketed her work both at the wholesale and retail levels, showing in galleries across the U.S. as well as art festivals nation wide. Her initial foray into fitness was reading the Jane Fonda book and exercising in her living room to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Realizing that exercising at home just wasn’t enough; Jane joined a gym in 1984, and became interested in all forms of exercise, particularly weight resistance training, which she has continued to do for the past twenty years. “I love being part of a group, and find the atmosphere and energy in the gym to be exciting and motivating. It is also a place to continue to learn and share one’s knowledge.” Jane stresses the importance of weight training for women. “It is imperative that women focus on moving the right kind of weight to reach their goals and to challenge their muscles in order to increase muscle strength as well as bone density. Exercise as a tool to relieve stress is invaluable in maintaining a healthy attitude, healthy body and mind.” ane develops a routine for each client that addresses their individual needs and integrates cardio, weight training, and nutrition into a plan that makes exercise challenging and fun.
