Here’s a little bit about me: I have been practicing massage since 2000. I graduated from East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in 1999 and got licensure in both Oregon and Washington states in 2000. I am also an active member of AMTA, Fl chapter. After a few years, I felt I needed a change of scenery, so I moved to Florida in 2005. I transferred my massage license in 2005 through the Sarasota School of Massage. Since moving here, I have discovered many opportunities in massage. While I was trained in classic Swedish style massage, I was also trained in Shiatsu table style Level 1 and Sports Massage using assessment and the MET technique. I employ several different modalities in my practice, since many techniques are usually called for in many situations. Of the styles I use in massage, I tend to lean toward more of a structural integrative core -type bodywork that is designed to be more individual to each client I work on, as their needs vary. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports/MET, PNF ( proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu & Structural Integration are blended in each session to bring what I call a multi-integrative massage. It is a great blend of energy work with the deeper core bodywork. My clients can get the benefit of feeling balanced on the inside as well as the outside, while getting out of pain. I love what I do, and I try to help others feel better. I try and make a difference with each client that I do bodywork on. . Hopefully, I can make a difference for you, too. |
